To train and place shelter dogs to serve and provide independence to our U.S. military veterans that suffer from the emotional effects of war. In turn, each veteran can experience the therapeutic and unconditional love only a companion animal can bring.

There is no cost to a Veteran for the service dogs we raise, train, and place.



Every 8 seconds one animal is put to death in a U.S. shelter. According to the Department of Veteran Affairs, 2.7 million have been to the war zones of Iraq and Afghanistan since 2001; approximately 970,00 have suffered invisible and visible wounds. Service and comfort dogs have been proven to be 84.1% effective.
