dale

Open to ALL adoption applications!

Dale is a 1-year-old Canaan who was rescued from overseas through Paws of War’s War-Torn Pups and Cats program. A soldier reached out for help to save Dale, who was fighting to survive. Redeployment orders meant that Dale’s hero couldn’t adopt him himself, and it is his wish that Dale finds a family to call his own.

Now safe in America, and thriving in a loving environment, Dale is the sweetest boy who is always looking for pets and belly rubs. Dale loves people, and having fur-friends but is a big for his age and doesn’t like to share his toys, so he’d do best as the only dog in the home and with children 10 years and older.

Dale is actively in training, working on his leash skills and commands, and is excelling well and is eligible to continuing training with his forever family through our training program.

dinky

Dinky is ready to find his forever home! This little Chihuahua will bring lots of love and smiles into your life. He’s just a pup so he’ll need someone home part of the day.

motcha

Available for public applications to a great home!

Motcha has gorgeous coloring and a black mask, with adorable spots on her nose. She is friendly and playful, and ready to find her forever home! Motcha was rescued overseas through our War-Torn program, and her birthday is January 6th, 2025.

sampson

Gentle Sampson is an eight-year-old cream Retriever. He was surrendered due to his owner's declining health, and his family is heartbroken, but hopeful that he'll find a home where he has the time, exercise, and attention he deserves. Sampson is wonderful with children and other dogs, is housebroken, and a true all-around dream.

He will be a great addition to any family, especially where he can have daily walks and be showered with love. Sampson does have a medical condition that requires medication and annual bloodwork, but all his medical costs will be covered by Paws of War for life.

luna

Luna is a beautiful seven-month-old German Shepherd with a confident, curious spirit and a loving heart. She knows her name and understands commands, including responding to “Luna, eat” for meals and “Luna, drink” for water. She also understands “soft” when taking treats, showing her gentle nature.

Luna is an independent and intelligent young dog who enjoys exploring her surroundings and learning new things.

She has done well with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship. Luna has not yet been exposed to cats. On leash, she may pull mildly due to excitement, but she is not out of control and would benefit from continued leash training.

Luna would make a wonderful companion for an active home ready to continue her training and help her grow into the amazing German Shepherd she’s meant to be.
