Helping Both Ends Of The Leash
At Paws of War, we believe in the healing power of companionship. Our mission is to bring together veterans, first responders and rescued animals, creating unbreakable bonds that foster healing and mutual understanding.
life-saving rescue in progress
Tiny Beuhring lay by the side of a road in the dangerous Middle Eastern desert. Alone and afraid, it was only a matter of time before the unthinkable happened but by a miracle, she was found by U.S. Army First Sergeant Ríos. He scooped her up into his arms and held her frail form close, and in that moment she found a place in his heart. He became her protector, and she became his light during deployment so many miles away from the comfort of home.
With an end to his deployment looming, First Sergeant Ríos is pleading for help to save this precious pup's life because without him, Beuhring has no one and she can’t make it alone.
Rescue efforts are underway but we need your help to keep this family together.

our mission
Our mission is to alleviate the suffering of veterans, first responders and their families, particularly those battling invisible wounds like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), by providing them with loyal service dogs that become not just companions but also catalysts for healing.
Simultaneously, we rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats in dire straits, often plucking them from the brink of despair and giving them a new chance at life. Our reach extends into war-torn regions, reuniting military personnel with the animals they formed bonds with during service.
